This was the first book I bought after firing up my new Kindle on Christmas day but while it has a lot of good information I've found it pretty useless as a help because it's only available in the Kindle format which means you can only read it on the Kindle device.. you must memorize anything you learn before "leaving" the book and attempting to do what you just read about. Why is this called a cookbook? I am looking into buying a Kindle, but would use it to read cookcooks-my passion. Can one do this?

Rating: - Very helpful
I found this guide to be very helpful, although it's a little rough around the edges. The shortcuts and tricks really improve the Kindle experience. One thing I would recommend that I didn't see in the book is to use mobile or basic versions of websites like gmail (bookmark m.google.com and you're good to go). The manual is well laid-out. Hopefully later editions will be more expanded.
